Privacy statement
Your privacy is very important to CHAP Happiness Institute. We ask for your data so that we can help you as well as possible. We do everything we can to keep your private data truly private. You can read below which data we ask for and what we use it for. You can also see what your rights are and who has access to your data.
Responsibility for your data
CHAP and CHAPHappiness.com are an initiative of Jagersschans Beheer BV. Jagersschans Beheer BV is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
What data do we process about you?
In order to compile your CHAP profile and send it to you, we process the following personal data:
- your name and – if your employer chooses to do so – your address details for sending your CHAP®-report;
- your answers to questions about happiness, ranging from questions about actions, recharge and connections – this also includes questions about your health and sexual activity;
- if you leave your email address, we may contact you at some point to ask or tell you something. If we do, you can always unsubscribe from this afterwards. You can do this by sending an email to privacy@CHAPhappiness.com.
Your CHAP®-report is yours alone. We will never share your CHAP®-report or your other data with anyone. This can only be done by you, on your own initiative.
We also use your data, including your employer's name, your age and gender, to create reports for your employer. Think of summarized scores, average scores across multiple respondents, and so on. This data cannot be traced back to you personally. We may also use your data on an anonymous basis for (scientific) research.
We only process this data based on your consent. We only receive your data once you - after completing the test and your other details - give your consent to process your data into your CHAP®-report. You can always withdraw this consent afterwards. If you do so, we will delete your contact details, so that we can no longer trace the results back to you.
How do we handle your data?
We use the answers you gave to the CHAP questionnaire to give an indication of your sense of happiness. You can stop the questionnaire at any time. If you do so, no data will be stored or retained.
We don't do everything ourselves. We have, for example, outsourced the hosting of the sites and the storage of your contact details to another party. We have also outsourced the production of bound CHAP reports to another party. We have made agreements with these parties to ensure that they have taken measures to secure your data.
No later than three months after the agreement with your employer has ended, we will delete your name and address details, so that we can no longer trace the answers to the questions back to you. We retain your email address until you unsubscribe.
Hyperlinks
For your convenience, we may include hyperlinks on our website to third-party websites. If you visit these websites, the privacy statement of these third parties applies, not that of CHAP Happiness Institute.
Do you have questions or complaints?
If you want to tell or ask us something, you can do so at info@CHAPhappiness.com.
CHAP Happiness Institute has appointed a privacy officer. Do you have questions or complaints about how we handle your data? Then you can contact him directly via privacy@CHAPhappiness.com. You can also contact our privacy officer to exercise your rights. This way you can ask us:
- what personal data CHAP Happiness Institute processes about you;
- to correct incorrect data;
- to temporarily suspend the processing of your data;
- to delete your data or make it available for transfer to another party.
If you happen to disagree with the way we handle your personal data, you can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can find their contact details at www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes to the privacy statement
We may amend this privacy statement. We do this in response to new developments, for example if something changes in our business activities or regulations. We therefore recommend that you review this privacy statement regularly.
